One of the best gifts I can give my students is to make sure to keep my own heart spiritually healthy and close to Jesus. Then I can invite them to experience the joy of walking with Jesus that I am actually experiencing.
In God’s goodness and kindness, he provides us with a community of believers to help bear the load. Even better, he gives us himself, the only one who is strong enough to carry our burdens for us.
Parents need a clear, compassionate lens to see whether a teen’s slowdown reflects healthy rest or signals a deeper struggle.
