In addition to our board of directors, Rooted has two steering committees that work to promote and protect the organization’s mission and vision by directing the communications, programs and activities. Our Youth Ministry Steering Committee is made up of practicing youth pastors and volunteers across various geographies, denominations and contexts. They are instrumental in the creation of our content, conference and curriculum for youth pastors and churches. Our Parent Steering Committee is made up of parents of children, teenagers and young adults in various contexts and help with the creation of content and programs for parents.
Committee members serve three year terms, meet monthly, nominate and elect new members to the committee. They also lead and recruit the organization’s volunteer teams.
