BUY NOWWhy teach Gospel Basics?
If a child learns nothing else through our curriculum, we want them to know the gospel of Jesus Christ: God’s perfect love and deep affection for sinners through Jesus Christ. We believe that the gospel is not just the entry into a relationship with God but the daily diet of the Christian life. Therefore, this package serves as an excellent introduction to every year of children’s ministry, enabling you to begin anew with the bedrock of the Christian faith.

What will children learn from Gospel Basics?
In this package you will see the following progression in the way we articulate the gospel to children:
God Makes All Things New (The New Heavens and the New Earth)—The end of our salvation is living eternally with God in heaven, delivered from the pains of this life and brought into the perfect bliss of perfect communion with God.
God Makes People for Relationship with Him (Creation)—We emphasize that God made us to have a relationship with him.
People Disobey God (The Fall)—The gospel addresses the central problem of sin. Sin breaks our relationship with God and carries the consequence of death.
Jesus Dies to Rescue Sinners (Redemption and Crucifixion)—Jesus comes into the world to live the perfect life that we cannot live and to die for our sins on the cross. He pays the price in order to bring us back into a relationship with God.
Turning from Sin, Trusting God (Repentance)—We must reconcile with God by receiving his forgiveness through Christ and trusting Jesus with our lives (and no longer trusting ourselves).
God Adopts Us into His Family (the Story of Mephibosheth)—We are not just saved as individuals, but we are adopted into the family of God, where we live in community with other believers in Christ.
