Lindsey Whitten

Lindsey Whitten is a writer and editor for Rooted Ministry with more than 25 years of experience in youth ministry as a volunteer leader and a staff spouse with Young Life. She has always loved to write and finds it a meaningful way to process life, faith, and the things she cares about most. Lindsey is especially passionate about relationships, communication, parenting, and discipleship, and loves exploring the unique ways God wires people—and then places them in families where they learn, grow, and love one another.

Lindsey and her husband, Baker, have been married for 20 years and live in Birmingham, Alabama, with their four children. When she isn’t writing, you can usually find her in the kitchen cooking, creating a new recipe, outside walking her dog, Hank, cheering on her kids in whatever they love, or simply spending time with her people.
