Parents, Let’s Not ‘Get Back to Normal’
Teenagers want to see adults unafraid to engage any subject or idea, and to be able to share why the Gospel matters in all of it.
If God pursued us and died for us when we were his enemies, we can trust him to sustain us and lead us in love and wisdom now that we are his beloved sons and daughters.

Unless I surrender my entire life, repenting of the ways and times I put myself and my desires on the throne of my life, absolutely nothing will change.
My calling as a post-pandemic mother and professor are to lament what has been lost, celebrate what has been gained, and to bless the name of the Lord with my children and students
Right now it feels as if, as Ted Lasso fans might say, “it’s the hope that kills you.”
To be clear, attending church does not save us or our children; nevertheless, God calls his people to be regularly involved in the work and worship of the church.
We should fight for community. Our students are dying for it. The Church is built on it. Our mission is driven by it.
