Give Us This Day Our Daily Bread… (The Lord’s Prayer for Parents)
Our hunger as parents—broader, as Christians—is spiritual. It is for the Bread of Life, the Savior of the world.
When we pray the Lord’s Prayer and ask for forgiveness, we do so not with trepidation and terror, but in humble trust and joyful gratitude, for we know that we are truly and fully forgiven.

Our hunger as parents—broader, as Christians—is spiritual. It is for the Bread of Life, the Savior of the world.
From children’s ministry to daily life in the home, the greatest gift we can give our kids is a vision of a King who is worth following no matter the cost.
As God hallows his name in our lives, he will continue to make us holy by the Spirit. Then we can better obey his commands and live out the gospel before our children and love them as he has loved us.
“Our Father, Who Art In Heaven.” When parenting seems unsurmountable, those words tell me where I am, where God is, and that God is El Roi, the God who sees.
My hope cannot be in my ability to parent perfectly. My hope must be in our Father who is perfectly wise, perfectly loving, and perfectly faithful.
