Jeffrey Jones is from Birmingham, Alabama and a current sophomore at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa. Jeffrey is majoring in Economics, Physics, and Mathematics and minoring in Social Innovation & Leadership and Computer Science. A lover of travel, Jeffrey has spent his last two summers out of the country. In 2016 he worked as a missionary intern alongside Elisabeth Elliot at the Nicaragua Christian Academy in Matagalpa, Nicaragua, and in 2017 he spent eight weeks in Europe mostly enrolled in summer classes at the London School of Economics. On campus, Jeffrey serves the community through organizations such as the Center for Ethics & Social Responsibility and the University Fellows Experience to do everything from teaching chess to low-income school children in Tuscaloosa to spearheading a leadership development for high school students in the Alabama Black Belt.
