If we, as parents, prepare a biblical rebuttal to each lie our kids are led to believe about money, we can lay the foundation for a faith that resists Satan’s lies and trusts God to know and provide exactly what we need.
All of us qualify as “needy” at certain points in our lives. The needy are not “them,” they are those among “us.”
Through teaching on reciprocal service and respectful partnership, we promote human dignity and point to the poverty we all experience as those in need of Jesus.
When you can humbly confess your own struggles with failure, time, and money, then you’ll be better equipped to have these conversations with your teenagers.
