The more we remind our students of God’s faithfulness in the past, the easier our students will navigate their uncertain present.
We have been spared not because we are righteous or deserving, but because God has given us the righteousness of Jesus through his life, death, and resurrection in our place.
Christian community should be the place where questions are welcomed and worked through together.
Questions like this one give us a wonderful opportunity to remind students that God’s grace is a free gift in Jesus.
Jesus doesn’t shut the mouth of Thomas or others who doubt, but allows them to share their questions.
