William Cumby

William Cumby serves as the Director of Church Engagement for the Fuller Youth Institute and Minister of Youth for The Fountain of Praise. A Summa Cum Laude graduate of Oral Roberts University and a DVULI graduate, William will complete his Master of Arts in Theology and Ministry at Fuller Theological Seminary in 2026.

With over twenty years of youth ministry experience, William has led multiple youth crusades to Colombia and Brazil. He serves as a varsity football chaplain across Fort Bend ISD, Alief ISD, and Cy Fair ISD, and currently chairs the board of YouthWorks, a youth missions organization. He has also served on the boards of the West Orem YMCA and Suits for Sons.

His community leadership includes an annual spring break event with the Houston Rockets, Stronger, a camp for inner-city boys, and a yearly gathering for urban youth leaders across Houston. As a national conference speaker and youth ministry curriculum author, William is a trusted voice in urban youth ministry. On February 20, 2018, William was honored with his own day in Houston, TX — the fourth-largest city in the United States.
