Teach Children As You Would Be Taught
I found that I teach best when I follow three main principles: practice humility, provide structure, and pull students into the learning process.
We have a rich opportunity in the limited years we are given with students to present the glorious gospel of Jesus Christ from every part of God’s Word and apply it to every area of life.

I found that I teach best when I follow three main principles: practice humility, provide structure, and pull students into the learning process.
When we teach the Word, we teach about the Son of God, Jesus Christ himself. Want your students to love the Word? Love him first.
Knowing God as the Father means knowing he has made us, knows us, and actively pursues us. He doesn’t wait for our students to fix themselves; rather, he’s been chasing them from the beginning.
Christian students can pursue science with a sense of security, because the Bible tells us that God is the sovereign Creator.
Teaching the Bible is a sacred calling that should not be taken lightly, yet we can engage with God’s Word without fear by humbly relying on the Spirit (1 Pet. 3:23-25).
I aim to show God to my students by living for God right in front of them, speaking truth, extending grace, and praying daily.
