Human performance cannot earn us forgiveness; we need a perfect substitutionary sacrifice who dies in our place (Lev. 17:11; Heb. 9:22).
We need to show our Asian American students that because of the gospel, it’s okay to not be okay.
As your hosts cast the vision for their ministry, your students will see real examples of Christians engaging their cultural context for the sake of the gospel.
Friends, this is why we’re in youth ministry. We want our students to know the joy of walking with Jesus as their greatest treasure!
When you are patient with their shortcomings, problems and annoyances, you will find that many teenagers will grow to respect you, even if you were a teenager before cell phones or the Internet.
In Jesus, there is freedom to enjoy your child, to pray for your child, and nurture your child.
