The Best Leaders
I have been reading quite a bit on leadership recently…though leaders come in a variety of different forms and fashions here are some qualities that seem to rise above the rest:
The best leaders laugh.
The best leaders cry.
The best leaders are teachable.
The best leaders know that they’re not perfect.
The best leaders haven’t always made the best decisions.
The best leaders are broken.
The best leaders forgive.
The best leaders have followers.
The best leaders love.
The best leaders learn to lead out of their strengths.
The best leaders embrace their weaknesses and aren’t afraid of them.
The best leaders understand and have experienced failure.
The best leaders challenge others.
The best leaders listen.
The best leaders are loyal.
The best leaders have passion.
The best leaders say the hard things.
The best leaders learn from criticism.
The best leaders don’t run and they don’t hide.
The best leaders understand the hurts and pains of life.
The best leaders are not loners.
The best leaders know they need other people.
The best leaders have a strong team.
The best leaders get things done.
The best leaders have ambition.
The best leaders focus.
The best leaders sacrifice.
The best leaders care.
The best leaders know how to follow.
The best leaders are learners.
The best leaders don’t have it all figured out.
The best leaders are always growing.
Above all, the best leaders follow Jesus.
