As you look ahead to the coming fall semester, we encourage you to consider starting a family-equipping ministry in your church. Rooted’s Family Ministry Mentorship can help you to think biblically and strategically with your church’s leaders about how to serve parents of children and teenagers. The cohort kicks off in August, and the deadline to apply is Friday, August 15.
About the Family Ministry Mentoring Cohort
The Rooted Family Ministry Mentorship Program is designed to provide both small group and individual coaching for children’s pastors, volunteers, youth pastors or associate pastors who oversee family ministry in their church context. The program is one year wherein small groups of 6-8 are led by one mentor in both a cohort and an individual setting through a carefully crafted 12-month curriculum designed to help you grow spiritually as an individual and as a leader in your congregation. The comprehensive curriculum, designed by and for family ministers to help equip you to implement an effective family ministry program in your church.
The cost for each mentee is $1,250. This covers all 12 months of meetings and content in addition to one year of full access to our Rooted Reservoir Family Discipleship Videos. At the end of the program, we expect you’ll be prepared to equip the volunteers and parents in your congregation to disciple the next generation to know and love Jesus. Additionally, you’ll receive a Rooted Family Ministry Certificate to signal that you’ve completed our mentorship Program.
