Key Responsibilities
– Assist in weekly youth group gatherings, including teaching, worship, and activities
– Help develop biblical curriculum and engaging content for students
– Build authentic relationships with students and their families
– Help plan and execute events, retreats, mission trips, and special programs
– Recruit, equip, and support volunteer leaders
– Collaborate with church staff and participate in the broader church community
– Handle administrative tasks including communication, scheduling, and budget managementQualifications Required
– Clear sense of calling to full-time vocational ministry
– Demonstrated spiritual maturity and evidence of the biblical qualifications for ministry leadership as outlined in 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:5-9
– Strong personal relationship with Jesus Christ and commitment to Scripture
– Passion for investing in the spiritual lives of young people
– Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
– Ability to teach and communicate biblical truth effectively
– Team-oriented attitude with ability to work collaboratively
– Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and occasional overnight trips

– Bachelor’s degree (in progress or completed) in ministry, theology, or related field
– Previous experience in youth ministry or working with students

This two-year, full-time paid internship is designed to equip aspiring ministry leaders for lifelong service in the church. Interns will receive hands-on training in youth ministry while developing the character, competencies, and theological foundation necessary for vocational ministry.
We are seeking a passionate, called, and spiritually maturing man to join our team as a Youth Ministry Intern. This full-time, paid position offers an exceptional opportunity to gain hands-on ministry experience while being mentored and equipped for vocational ministry. The internship runs for a two-year term. At its conclusion, there may be opportunity to transition into a full-time staff role within our church.
This internship is designed for men who are pursuing full-time vocational ministry and desire to develop their gifts, skills, and character in a supportive church environment.
You will work directly with middle and high school students, assist in leading ministry programs, and receive intentional mentoring from experienced ministry leaders. This is more than a job—it’s a formative experience that will shape your calling and prepare you for long-term gospel ministry.
