The Church: Grace Church of Wichita Falls is an independent, Bible-teaching church located in North Texas. We’ve been around for over 60 years, and our mission is to develop maturing followers of Jesus Christ. We’re known for our grace-oriented approach to ministry and our commitment to teaching the way of Jesus. Our staff is friendly and fun, and we’re excited to add someone to our team!
The Location: With a population just over 100,000, Wichita Falls offers the advantages of a larger community while retaining that small-town feel. People often comment that Wichita Falls is a great place to raise a family with a low cost of living. If you love the big city, we’re an easy 2 hours away from larger areas like Dallas/Ft. Worth and Oklahoma City.
The Role: The Grace Church Student Ministry desires to demonstrate the love of Jesus and the joy of pursuing Him in the way we build relationships with students. We want students to feel seen, known, loved, and secure in Christ, and to experience the fulfillment of an intimate relationship with Him.
As the Student Pastor, you will have the unique opportunity to shepherd and invest in 6th-12th grade students as they learn what it means to follow Jesus and be an integral part of the body of Christ, the Church. You’ll also create opportunities for students to build relationships with each other and with older mentors through fun and engaging activities, discipleship programs, and corporate worship.
You will be a collaborative member of the Next Gen Team, working closely with our Children’s Pastor to provide consistent shepherding and care at every age. You will also be a collaborative member of the Pastoral Team as we seek to help each other and our church family grow as maturing followers of Jesus together.
This is a full-time role with excellent benefits, including paid health insurance premiums, paid vacation and holidays, retirement match, reimbursement for professional counseling services, and more. Outside of regular office hours, the Student Pastor’s schedule will involve some night and weekend hours for ministry activities and connecting with students in their everyday lives.
Our Values: As a staff, we value health, humility, clarity, connection, and grace. We seek to embody these values as we care for ourselves, work together as a team, and minister to our church body.
If you love Jesus and want to make an eternally significant impact on the lives of students, we’d love to hear from you!
