Whitney Cahan
Whitney Cahan was born and raised near Houston, TX. She moved to Washington, DC, to study
at American University, with the ultimate goal of pursuing a career in public service and elected
office. However, while working on Capitol Hill after graduation, she felt called to full-time
vocational ministry. She left her staff position in Congress to help lead a college ministry in
Washington, DC. Whitney earned a Master of Divinity degree from Gordon-Conwell Theological
Seminary (and aspires to further theological education!). Whitney and her husband, Josh, serve
in a local church in the Boston area, where Whitney has served as Director of Discipleship and
Ministry Director for the past eleven years, overseeing women’s ministry, children’s ministry,
and midweek groups. Whitney lives in Boston with her husband and four children, and a
goldendoodle named Calvin. Whitney's favorite things include running, one-on-one Bible
reading, Greek and Hebrew word studies, painting her nails, and quality time with friends.
