Welcome to Season Four of the Rooted Parent Podcast! In this first episode of the new season, Cameron and Anna talk about the fears parents face in raising their children during this modern age. Teenagers aren’t the only ones experiencing heightened anxiety; their parents are too, and when parents and children feed off of each other’s fears, the cycle is destructive and difficult to break. Thanks be to God, the gospel shows us a better way. Starting with the fall in Genesis3, Cameron and Anna talk about how fear causes us to either control our children, or withdraw in despair. But Jesus leads us into holy fear and reverent trust, so that we can begin to parent our kids out of love and wisdom rather than worry and fear.
