In his book “Getting Love Right,” Terence Gorski estimates that 70%-80% of people grow up in dysfunctional families. Citing the biblical doctrine of original sin, host Alice Churnock states that we all grow up in some form of a dysfunctional family – we all grow up as sinners who are raised by sinners! Alice identifies the different ways that broken and dysfunctional home-life impacts young children and adolescents. After equipping listeners with the knowledge to recognize depression and anxiety in teenagers, Alice then gives practical advice on how to care for the souls of young people whose homes are broken/dysfunctional.
