- Job Requirements:
- You have a strong relationship with Jesus Christ and a heart for evangelism.
- You have proven experience in family and youth ministry, either as an employee or a volunteer leader, and demonstrate creativity and effectiveness in outreach and discipleship.
- You are self-motivated, and can develop new programs and outreach strategies, and the perseverance needed for long-term success.
- You have relational warmth. People find you approachable and easy to talk to. You clearly care for people and can speak comfortably and naturally in front of large and small groups.
- You have strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with youth, parents, and volunteers.
- You align theologically with Emmanuel Lutheran Church and committed to the Lutheran tradition of Word and Sacrament.
- A bachelor’s degree in Theology, Biblical Studies, Youth Ministry, or a related field is preferred, and we are particularly open to students actively pursuing a seminary track.
