Qualifications:
- Live as a model of faith in Jesus Christ, demonstrate spiritual and emotional health, and intentionally manage both work and personal life in a balanced way.
- Enjoys developing relationships with students, their peers, and the adults in their lives.
- Strong skills in the following areas to foster the best possible connections with students: play, service, discipleship, and outreach.
- Proven expertise in volunteer recruitment and development.
- Strong skills in teaching and speaking to students in both small and large group settings.
- Ability to work within a larger staff framework, collaborating and interfacing across various ministries within the church and the community.
- Ability to perform the administrative and organizational duties required for the position. Specifically, a competency to learn and use the software that the church utilizes.
- Show a dedication to the local church and its role in nurturing faith in students.
- Basic knowledge of Reformed theology and the Presbyterian Church.
- Show a thorough understanding of scripture and the skill to teach it well.
- 4+ years of experience leading or co-leading a student ministry in a large organization is preferred.
