All About Boys with David Thomas: Boys and Screens

Ideal Screen Time for Children (Stats from AAP):

-2 or younger: Ideally, no screen time at all

-18 months to 2 years: Screen time limited to video chat with family/friends. Limit individual screen time, only engage in educational videos or content with parental supervision

-2-5: 1 hour per day, parents should watch as well

-6+: Place consistent limits on time spent and types of media. Screen time should not affect sleep, exercise, or academic success
