HTH: Five Ways Teenagers Waste Time

The lazy, hazy days of summer are upon us. Summertime can mean mornings spent in pajamas, daytime sunning on the dock, nighttime in a hammock under the stars… or, for today’s teens, it can mean even more hours for video games and social media posts and idle time. It’s enough to drive the adults who love them a little crazy…

Summertime provides a golden opportunity to teach youth the difference between God- ordained refreshment and wasting time. Teenager Jaquelle Crowe explains stewardship of time in “Five Ways Teenagers Waste Time.” As Crowe explains: “Laziness is bad; rest is profoundly good.” Her insights will help adults too, as we enjoy the slower pace of summertime without wasting the precious days God has given us.
