Before suffering comes, we can deepen our knowledge of God’s character so that our confidence in him won’t be shaken by future trials. We can learn now that God is our helper who responds when we lift our eyes to him.
Scripture reminds us that even parents need friends. It reminds us what type of friends parents need, and the greatest friend parents could ever have.
We will trust that he who calls us—to pregnancy, to parenting, to waiting—is faithful. He will complete the good work he begins in us.
